shores of Gualala (8x10)
Frame style

8"x10" original artwork in watercolor, mica, ink + cut black paper on Stonehenge heavy cold-press paper, with touches of black acrylic marker and pink gouache.

Our favorite and most-frequent place to camp in Sonoma County is at its northwest corner, just before crossing over into Mendocino. Gualala Point Regional Park sits right down the road from cute restaurants, art galleries, and supplies, and the hiking trail from the campground out to the beach overlooks that little concentration of activity, including this riverbend where the kayaks launch.

Painting #2 of 5 in the mini collection "Places of Rest." This 2nd collection of 2026 consists of 5 landscape paintings from in and around Sonoma County. Each is based off a reference photo I took while traveling, focusing on some of my favorite places to find a bit of calm: highlighting Sea Ranch, Gualala, Marin County, and two spots in Petaluma.

Prices include free U.S. shipping. Paintings ordered with the "framed" option are matted and ready to hang, presented in an 11"x14" black solid-wood frame.
